Rules & Policies

To ensure a safe, peaceful, and premium living environment for all our residents, we request everyone to strictly adhere to the following guidelines.

🕒 Timings & Discipline

  • 🔸 Gate Timings: The PG gates will close strictly at 10:30 PM. Entry after this time requires prior permission from the warden.
  • 🔸 Quiet Hours: Please maintain silence after 11:00 PM to avoid disturbing fellow students and professionals.
  • 🔸 Decorum: Residents are expected to behave politely with the PG staff, wardens, and roommates. Any form of physical or verbal abuse will result in immediate expulsion.

💰 Rent & Payments

  • 🔸 Due Date: Monthly rent must be paid in advance between the 1st and 5th of every month. Late payments may attract a fine.
  • 🔸 Security Deposit: A refundable security deposit is required at the time of admission. It will be refunded upon vacating, subject to clearance of dues and damages.
  • 🔸 Notice Period: Residents must provide a strictly 30-day prior written notice before vacating the PG. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of the security deposit.

🚫 Strict Prohibitions (Zero Tolerance)

  • 🔸 Substances: Consumption or possession of alcohol, cigarettes, e-cigarettes, tobacco, or illegal drugs within the PG premises is strictly banned.
  • 🔸 Ragging & Bullying: Shree Shyam PG is a strictly anti-ragging zone. Any involvement will lead to immediate police action and expulsion.
  • 🔸 Weapons: Possession of firearms, knives, or any dangerous weapons is not allowed under any circumstances.

👥 Visitor Policy

  • 🔸 Meeting Area: Guests and friends are only allowed in the common reception/meeting areas and must leave by 8:00 PM.
  • 🔸 Room Entry: Outside visitors are generally not permitted inside the residential rooms to ensure the privacy and security of other roommates.
  • 🔸 Overnight Guests: No unauthorized person is allowed to stay overnight. Parents visiting may be accommodated based on prior approval and availability.

💡 Property & Resource Usage

  • 🔸 Electricity & Water: Please turn off fans, lights, ACs, and water taps when not in use. Wastage of resources is highly discouraged.
  • 🔸 Damages: Residents will be held financially responsible for any intentional or careless damage caused to PG property, furniture, or appliances.
  • 🔸 Cleanliness: While daily housekeeping is provided, residents must maintain basic cleanliness in their personal spaces and avoid littering in common areas.
